Brothers and Sister! Care Home means where the people in their old ages are looked after on behalf of their offspring by the care workers in every respect so that they can have comfortable life i.e. recover from old age which is like a disease until the time they have to depart from the world.
Brothers and Sister! Morally and Ethically care homes ought to be non – profit organisation. If funded by the state then obviously there is no element of profiteering subject to that there is no element of corruption or misappropriation by the administration and management. But if the resident has to pay for the services either while he is alive out of his savings or upon his death where his property will be sold and the state will take its share out of the sales proceeds and the balance is paid to the heirs.
Brothers and Sister! In this age in most of the countries the residents have to pay for the services to the administration of care homes. Under the Capitalist System aim and object is making profits as much as possible by increasing sale prices and cutting expenditure. However, if the prices cannot be increased then the only option left is to cut expenditure e.g. laying off staff, reducing the budget, reducing wages and salaries, reducing number of working hours etc. etc.
Brothers and Sister! Being Temporary Resident in Half Acre Care Home, Radcliffe, United Kingdom and Principal Call for Pease a responsibility emerged that the administration and management policies are critically analysed and let the administration and management know about the ‘Shortcomings’ which ought to be made Good. However, the services provided for the care of the residents are appreciated.
