Brothers
and Sisters!
It is
also a
natural phenomenon that when someone allows enjoying then he also puts some conditions. So Allah, although had allowed them to go anywhere they liked,
eat and drink anything they liked but they were
forbidden to go
near to a
specific tree

i.e. forbidden
tree
. They were warned that if
they would go near that tree when the
Naffas will inspire them to do so, they will be losers.

Brothers and Sisters! In short, as the attribute of Naffas (Psyche) is being curious so it is natural phenomenons that
unconsciously wish was
emerging in their hearts upon the inspiration of Naffas to go near the specific tree and eat its fruit. However, they were aware of the pact with Allah and they controlled their Naffas i.e. whenever the
wish
emerged they suppressed it with the fear of Allah.

Brothers and Sisters! The attribute of Naffas is that it wants to be satisfied. For example: wish emerges in heart to eat fish and chips. So when he will eat fish
and chips his Naffas will be
satisfied.

Brothers
and Sisters!
When upon the inspiration of Shaitan
(Devil) Hazrat Adam (PBUH) and Hazrat Haw’wa (RTU)
ate the fruit of the forbidden tree whereby they became
naked and then as a
punishment
they were sent on
earth with
an
advice
that if they would
expended
their lives as per the
Guidance   of Allah then they
the

would
expended
their lives as per the
Guidance   of Allah then they
the
plane of Death  will bring back to Paradise where they will live
forever.

Brothers and Sisters! The Philosophers and Scholars have made a deep research in respect
of
Sensual Appetite i.e. the Psyche of human mind. They have come to the
conclusion that
Naffas has three attributes:

No 1: Naffas
e Amma’ra (Domineering, Wayward, imperious)

When the Naffas is overpowered by the lust of the desire of hedonic and epicurean feelings, it is
called
Naffas e Amma’ra.

No 2: Naffas
e Lawwa’ma (Regret on wrong actions)

When Naffas is disgusted because of the action committed against the Guidance of Allah, and ensures and reprehends himself it is called Naffas e Lawwa’ma.

No 3 Naffas e
Mutt’ma’inna (Satisfied and Contended)

When Naffas’s spiritual strength gets stronger, it feels ‘pleasure and peace of mind’ in the obedience of Allah by submitting to Him (SWT), and doing Good Deeds for the mankind, it is called
Naffas e
Mutt’ma’inna
.

Brothers and Sisters! In other words Naffas can be defined:

·
If Naffas is fond of heavenly world it is called Mutt’ma’inna.

·
If Naffas diverts to material world and grasped by the satisfaction of Sensual Appetite it is
called
Amma’ra.

·
If Naffas sometimes
diverts towards material world but reverts towards heavenly world whereby he is
regretful on his misdoings, it is called Lawwa’ma.

Brothers and Sisters! The above three names are its attributive names, which have been attributed in accordance with the
circumstances:

·
Allah’s pious and righteous people’s
Naffas is
Mutt’ma’inna.

·
Allah’s holy people’s Naffas is Lawwa’ma

·
Sinful people’s Naffas is Amma’ra.

CONCLUSION

Brothers and Sisters! Basically it is the attribute Naffas e Amma’ra which is the Cause of Digression from the Right Path which leads to secure
Pleasure of Allah and that in turn leads to Paradise.

Brothers and Sisters! However, Allah is Rehman and Raheem (Merciful). Allah has advised mankind that should they digress from the Right
Path
they should repent and beg forgiveness of Allah where He (SWT) will forgive him and he will be again on the Right Path which leads to Paradise and live there forever and enjoy

May Allah be with You
