Brothers and Sisters! 
Assalam o Alleyykum 
[Peace be Upon You]
Definition
Brothers and Sisters! There is no single agreed definition of ILM (knowledge) and there
are numerous theories to explain it. However, one can try because, basically, it
is ILM which regulates each and every aspect of life of every creation of the
universe whether it’s beneath the earth and beyond Heavens. Let us look at some
of the definitions:

Knowledge is a familiarity with someone or something that can
include facts, descriptions, information and/or skill acquired through
experience or education.
·
Knowledge can refer to the theoretical or practical understanding
of a subject.
·
The criterion of knowledge is that it must be justified, true and
believed.
Brothers and
Sisters! Technically
ILM is a ‘process’ where sentiments, properties of creations, news, information
etc. are made known to other party which are derived by observation,
understanding, experimenting.
Origin of ILM
(Knowledge)
Brothers and Sisters! Everything or creation has its origin. The question arises as
everything revolves around ILM so where ILM has emerged from, what is its
origin and who is in control of ILM because it keeps on growing in mind while
when thinks and makes research upon the creations of the Universe.
Brothers and Sisters! One fact is certain that
ILM is within the mind which is saved in the brain which is stored in it by
observing, listening, reading, experimenting upon the creations of the
universe. Therefore, it is safe to
derive that ILM is penetrated within the matter which when analysed, its
properties are known and saved in the brain, which becomes ILM and then it is
dealt with mind.
Brothers and Sisters! Now the question arises who has penetrated ILM within the matter
because creations come into being from non – existence i.e. no creation can be
creator. So who and where is the Creator?
Brothers and Sisters! To find answer to this question we have take
recourse to ‘Belief’. Belief is Allah is Lone Entity Who is in Ghaib but
Omnipresent and also nearer than the Jugular vein of every human being on earth.
