In Search of Allah (God)
Dear
Mr Humphrey
·
I do appreciate that being a journalist you are not left with
enough time to read your own mail, though in response to your programme, because you have to update yourself with
the current issue of the whole world plus collection of references of the
interviewees which they have made in the past in their interviews, speeches and
otherwise. This is the reason you have been able to read a small portion of the letters
in more than two months time.

I believe, unconsciously at the back of your mind, it
must have been developed that I am in the process of conveying Messages to Look for Peace where it is Footer on my letters
and Call
for Peace is Header.
·
I am Muslim faith based. With the Grace of Allah I have been trying to deal with
the current
issues under the light of the Qur’an and Hadith. On this basis
I have written articles on the subjects of:
o
Niqab/Hijab under the perspective of Jack Straw, leader of the
House, formerly home and foreign secretary,
o
Pope Benedict’s XVI Address at Southern Germany at the
University of Regensburg on 12 September 2006 where he made reference
to the statement of Byzantine Emperor.

The copies of the above articles
are saved on the enclosed CD.
·
The study of the Qur’an
and Hadith and the history revealed that the Peace
and Harmony lay in discharging the duties
and responsibilities in amicable manner. On this basis I had
written the book: The Public Authorities: Servants Or Masters?
based on the correspondence between
me and the authorities, royal family of the
United Kingdom. A copy was sent to you with
my letter dated 25 11 02.
However, you returned the copy of the book as you did not have time to browse
that with remarks:
“I am returning
your book since I fear I do not have time to give it attention it deserves.”

On similar basis I have written a book in Urdu language:

[The book consists of over
800 pages]

However, the correspondence with the Muslim Heads of the States
was entered in English language. With the Grace of Allah, I have composed the manuscript of the first
part Do
Heads of the Muslim States Want Promotion of Islam? which I intend
to publish at appropriate time.
I have saved
the manuscript of the book on the CD along with letters to High Commissioners of the Muslim consulates. Please read the manuscript
of the book. I am sending this book to you with a view that being journalist you like to be aware of the inside and outside of
the people especially who have rein in their hands to determine the mode of life and
otherwise. Moreover, journalists have a source where they can convey the message all over the
world in no time.

Another area which needed to be looked at is why there is no Peace in the world in spite of
the fact that there is abundance of everything.
·
Again the close study of the Qur’an and Hadith and history
revealed that the Peace and Harmony lay in the distribution of
wealth. At present the world economy is based upon Capitalist System. Capitalist
System is based upon Financial Interest.

I have written an article on the
subject: Why

the CD. Please do read it.

I am not expecting that you will agree with the context and substance
of the articles and the manuscript of the book as your brought up has been under
Christian faith base
religion, where, with the passage of time when you did not find answers to the
questions emerged in your mind, your thinking followed
the pattern of atheist and agnostic. This makes you open minded person and you
are ready to accept the truth which you state in fourth paragraph of your letter:
I can’t deny that I enjoy a good argument. That’s what I do for a living. But I do assure you that this was
a genuine attempt to try to get at a deeper truth. I was (and am) open
to persuasion.

You further write in the sixth paragraph of
your letter:
I’d hate you to think that the time you have spent in writing to me has been wasted. I am sending you this acknowledgement now so that you know your
letter has not just been ignored. I intend to get around to reading them all in the weeks and months to come and it has been suggested that another programme might emerge as a result of them. Who knows, it may be that listeners to the programme may achieve what our religious leaders fail to achieve!

I believe the study of the letter, articles and manuscript
of the book, and the forthcoming correspondence, will help you to argue with the interviewee and also to
prepare your case. No doubt you will appreciate that the correspondence between you and me will
constitute and ‘good argument’ because argument is based upon difference of
opinion which exists as our faith is based upon two different avenues.

In my letter ‘In search of Allah’ I stated:
You believe in Allah but
you want to believe in
Allah.
·
Insha’allah! (Allah Willing) I shall listen to your three interviews again and
again and make an analysis of the areas where, I feel, you believe in the Entity of Allah, but you want to believe in Allah. Your approach is, appears to
be, no different than the Prophet Hazrat Ibrahim (Abraham) (PBUH) where He
(PBHU) wanted to be sure of the attribute of Allah that how the dead bodies will be resurrected? The scholar elaborate that
people used to question Prophet how it is possible that a dead body could be given
life? The relevant
Verse of the Qur’an is:
Translation
Surah Al Baqrah Ayat no 260
In the Name of Allah,
the Most Gracious, and the Most Merciful
And (remember) when Ibrahim (Abraham) said: “My Lord! Show me
how you will give life to the dead.”
He (Allah) said: “Do you not believe?”
He [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: “Yes! (I believe), but to be stronger in Faith”.
He (Allah) said: “Take four birds, then cause them to incline towards you (then slaughter them, cut them into pieces) and then put a portion of them on
every hill, and call them, they will come to you in haste. And know that Allah is All-Mighty, All Wise.”
I think, your approach is on similar lines that unconsciously you believe in the Entity of Allah but you want to make your belief stronger.

There were people who wanted to see Allah with their own eyes to believe in Him (SWT).
Allah revealed this aspect in the Qur’an that a human
eye cannot see Him. This aspect was revealed in the form when Hazrat Musa (Moses) (PBUH)
petitioned Allah to be seen with his own eyes:
Translation
Surah Al A’raf Ayat no 142 – 144
In the Name of Allah,
the Most Gracious, and the Most Merciful
And We appointed for Musa (Moses) thirty nights and added (to
the period) ten (more), and he completed the term, appointed by his Lord, of
forty nights. And Musa (Moses) said to his Harun (Aaron): Replace me among my
people, act in the Right Way (by ordering people to obey Allah and to worship
Him alone) and follow not the way of Mufsidun (mischief-makers).
And when Musa (Moses) came at time and place appointed by Us,
and his lord (Allah) spoke to him;
He said: “O my
Lord! Show me (Yourself), that I may look upon You.”
Allah said: You
cannot see Me, but look upon the mountain if it stands still in its place then
you shall see Me.”
So when his Lord appeared to the Mountain, He made it collapse to dust, and Musa
(Moses) fell down unconscious. Then when he recovered his senses he said: “Glory is to You, I turn to You in
repentance and I am the first of the believers.
(Allah) said: “O Musa (Moses) I have chosen you above men by My
Messenger, and by My speaking (to you). So hold that which I have given you and
be of the grateful.”

The scholars elaborate the context and substance of the above
Ayats that the
mankind ought not to be curious about the vision of Allah (SWT) as it is not possible for a human eye to see Him in
this world. However, they can feel the existence of Allah by His
powers, attributes
and otherwise.
In view of the
above, being a journalist as you have an inquisitive mind, this has led you to search for the Entity of Allah if He
exists.

However, be patient. Insha’allah! (Allah Willing) the time will come when
you will believe in the Entity of Allah and your knowledge and expertise
will be used to convey the Message of Allah to the world. At present, unknowingly, you are conveying the Message of Allah to the world when you interview the people and pick out their shortcomings where they fail to discharge their duties and
responsibilities in
amicable manner.

Please acknowledge the receipt of letters through the e mail created specially for this
purpose. This will give me a satisfaction that you have received the letter
which will receive attention in due course. As the job is not finished yet,
I shall keep writing you letters to deal with the points which can
highlight the existence of Allah. This is why I have requested you to let me have your
Glasgow address so that letters reach directly to you.
