Brothers and Sisters!     

 

Assalam o Alleyykum

    [Peace be Upon You]

 

Technically, Wah’ee means to reveal the Guidance of Allah to Anbiyya e Karam. Wah’ee can be revealed directly upon Anbiyya e Karam or through Angel Gibra’iel (PBUH). Brothers and Sisters! Wah’ee is a means of communication between Allah and Anbiyya e Karam to guide mankind to revert to Allah (SWT).

 

Brothers and Sisters! Question arises why Guidance of Allah is required to be revealed to Anbiyya e Karam and why not all the mankind is addressed by Allah to give His (SWT) Guidance for day to day life on the basis that Allah is Omnipresent and is nearer to Jugular Vein? Should anyone have a question he can directly ask from Allah?

 

Brothers and Sisters! Yes! Allah can do this and this is revealed in the Qur’an:

 

Translation Surah Quaff Ayat no. 16

 

 

بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم

 

And indeed We have created man, and We know what his ownself whispers to him. And We are nearer to him than his jugular vein (by our knowledge)

 

Brothers and Sisters! Allah is Great. Why He (SWT) has devised a set up that Guidance should be revealed to Anbiyya e Karam and thereafter they have to convey Message of Allah, human mind cannot comprehend as it has a very limited capacity.

 

Brothers and Sisters! Question may arise in mind that when Guidance is revealed to Angel Gibra’iel (PBUH) to pass on to Anbiyya e Karam then as Angel Gibra’iel (PBUH) is a creation he may forget some part of the Guidance or misquote the text which was revealed to him by Allah?

 

Brothers and Sisters! Allah being Aleem Knew that this question will arise in the minds of the people so Allah has revealed this aspect in the Qur’an the Angel Gibra’iel is ‘Amin’ i.e. trustworthy.

 

Surah Ash Shu’ara Ayat no. 192 – 194

 

 

بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم

 

 

And truly, this (the Qur’an) is a revelation from Lord of the ‘Alamin’ (mankind, jinn, and all that exists), which the Ruh ul Amin (Trustworthy Gibra’iel) has brought down upon your heart (O Mohammed (SAW)) that you may be (one) of the warners, in plain Arabic language.  

 

Brothers and Sisters! Question may also arise in mind that when Guidance is revealed directly to Anbiyya e Karam either they can misunderstand or make any changes when delivering Message of Allah to their followers?

 

Brothers and Sisters! This is not possible. Allah has warned Anbiyya e Karam in Qur’an that if they do not convey the text as it has been revealed they will be at loss. Brothers and Sisters! As below are the Ayats of the Qur’an where it is impossible to make any changes and adaptation in the Message of Allah i.e. Qur’an:

 

Translation Surah Al Ma’idah Ayat no. 67

 

 

بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم

 

 

O Messenger (Mohammed (SAW)) Proclaim (the Message) which has been sent down to you from your Lord. And if you do not, then you have not conveyed His Message. Allah will protect you from mankind. Verily, Allah guides not the people who disbelieve.

 

Surah Yunus Ayat no. 15

 

 

بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم

 

 

And when Our clear Ayats are recited unto them, those who hope not for their Meeting with Us, say: “Bring us a Qur’an other than this, or change it.”

 

Say (O Mohammed (SAW)): “It is not for me to change it on my own accord; I only follow that which is revealed unto me. Verily, I fear torment of Great Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) if I were to disobey my Lord”

 

Surah Al Haqqah Ayat no. 44 -46

 

 

بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم

 

 

And if he (Mohammed (SAW)) had forged a false saying connecting Us (Allah), We surely, would have seized him by his right hand (or with power and might), and then We certainly would have cut off his life artery (aorta).

 

Brothers and Sisters! The context and substance of the above Ayats depicts that the Anbiyya e Karam cannot make any changes to the text and meaning of the Books of Allah i.e. Taurat, Injeel Zabur and Qur’an. 

 

Brothers and Sisters! Question arises that Taurat, Anjeel and Zabur are also Books of Allah but there is text in these books the meaning of which does not conform to the Moral Values but the followers believe this is the revelation to Anbiyya e Karam by Allah? Brothers and Sisters! Man has been sent in this world for a test. Any Guidance of Allah which was an obstacle to satisfy the Sensual Appetite, the followers of the Prophets made changes and adaptations and promoted that this is from Allah. This fact has revealed in the Qur’an:

 

Surah Al Baqrah Ayat No 79

 

 

بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم

 

 

Then woe to those who write the Book with their own hands and then say, “This is from Allah”, to purchase with it a little price! Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they earn by.

 

Brothers and Sisters! Question will arise that if changes and adaptation can be made in the Books of Allah: Taurat, Injeel and Zabur then changes could have been made in the Qur’an by the followers?

 

Brothers and Sisters! Qur’an is Word of Allah. Allah has assumed responsibility for Its protection and preservation and this has been revealed in the Qur’an:

 

Surah Al Hijr Ayat no 9

 

 

بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم

 

 

Verily, We, it is We Who have sent down the Dhikr (i.e. the Qur’an) and surely, We will guard it (from corruption).

 

The footnote states:

 

This Ayat is a challenge to mankind and everyone is obliged to believe in the miracles of his Qur’an. It is a clear fact that more than 1400 years elapsed and not a single word of this Qur’an has been changed, although the disbelievers tried their utmost to change it in every way, but they failed miserably in their efforts. As it is mentioned in this holy Ayat: “We will guard It.” By Allah! He has guarded it. On the contrary, all the other holy Books [the Taurat (Torah), the Injeel (Gospel)] have been corrupted in the form of additions or subtractions or alterations in the original text.

 

Surah Al Buruj Ayat no 21- 22

 

 

بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم

 

 

Nay! This is a Glorious Qur’an, (Inscribed) in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz (The Preserved Tablet).

 

CONCLUSION

 

Brothers and Sisters! Qur’an is Word of Allah. This has been revealed upon Khatim ul Anbiyya Mohammed Ibne Abdullah (SAW) over period of 23 years through Angel Gibra’iel who is Amin (Trustworthy) and is guarded by Allah and written in Al – Lauh Al – Mahfuz (The preserved Tablets) which is guide to mankind until the Day of Resurrection.

 

Brothers and Sisters! Qur’an is such a comprehensive Book of Allah that it has made its place at the Lincoln’s Inn in London where lawyers   are educated.

 

How?

 

Brothers and Sisters! The name of Mohammed Ibne Abdullah (SAW) is on top of the list of Law Givers being the:

 

Greatest Law Giver.

 

Brothers and Sisters! Non-Muslims do not believe that Mohammed Ibne Abdullah is Last Prophet of Allah. They formed opinion that Mohammed Ibne Abdullah has composed the Qur’an.

 

Brothers and Sisters! Qur’an is Wah’ee of Allah upon Mohammed Ibne Abdullah (SAW) and Book of Guidance for mankind until the Day of Resurrection to be successful in this world and life hereafter.
